Hi Ron, I added one possible alternative to using the “jumpy” error messages on blur for short passwords or invalid email addresses to that issue, but if that’s not possible/desired then sticking with localized feedback directly below the invalid field makes the most sense to me.
Doing that validation when the “Log In” button is clicked rather than on blur might help reduce the jumpiness if people still think it’s an issue, since that’s what browser-native HTML5 input validation does.
